Head and neck cancer research at The Medical University of South Carolina includes basic, translational and clinical research programs. The goal of this research is to develop cancer therapies in laboratories that can one day be used in the fight against cancer at patients' bedsides. Researchers work closely with the Hollings Cancer Center and other departments on campus, including Cell and Molecular Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Molecular & Cellular Biology & Pathobiology, and Microbiology & Immunology.
