The American Red Cross donor room is located in Room 279, University Hospital, across from 2 West Amphitheatre.  The Center is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 am until 4 pm.  Appointments are scheduled daily; however, walk-ins are always welcome. 

To donate blood, you must be at least 16 years of age (with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in general good health for the day.  Giving blood takes approximately 45 minutes, and helps to save the lives of three people.  If you would like to schedule an appointment, please visit www.givelife.org and enter sponsor code MUSC.
