| Gonzalo J. Revuelta, DO is Assistant Professor of Neurology and Director of the Deep Brain Stimulation Program at MUSC. He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Neurology at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. After residency he completed fellowship training in Movement Disorders and Deep Brain Stimulation at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. Dr. Revuelta's research interests include imaging techniques for dystonia, and the development clinical trials. He is involved in the treatment of patients with all types of movement disorders including dystonia, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, Tourette's syndrome,tremors and ataxias with deep brain stimulation, Botulinum toxin injections and medical therapies.
