Dr. Golshayan (“Dr G.”) is a genito-urinary medical oncologist and an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology. His primary focus is in prostate and bladder cancers. He also treats other urothelial malignancies, testicular cancer, kidney cancer, penile cancer and adrenal cancer. He is interested in translational research, the development of clinical trials, and serves as the institutional principle investigator for a number of clinical studies at HCC. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Southwest Oncology Group and the American Medical Association. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.

Dr. Golshayan received his Bachelors of Arts degree in biology from Tufts University in 1995. He graduated from the University of Vermont in 2001. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Hematology / Oncology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. He sees patients in the outpatient clinics at the Hollings Cancer Center and at the HCC outreach clinic at East Cooper. His clinical responsibilities include participation in the Genito-Urinary Multidisciplinary Tumor Board, as well as serving as an oncology consult attending. He serves on several committees including the Fellowship Committee, the Protocol Review Committee, and the Patient Flow Committee.
