Dr. Prasad's clinical and research interests are focused in prostate, urothelial (bladder and upper urinary tract), renal and testicular cancers. He has served as the principal investigator or coinvestigator on multiple clinical trials funded by the National Institutes of Health as well as industry. He is primarily interested in optimizing health outcomes for patients with urologic disease through judicious use of screening and treatment. His research has been published in such journals as JAMA, Cancer, the Journal of Urology, Urology, and Urologic Oncology. His teaching and clinical interests have been recognized with several awards, including the Travelling Fellowship Award from the North Central Section of the AUA, the John Quale Travel Fellowship Award for Young Investigators from the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network, the ASCO Cancer Foundation Merit Award, the Gerald P. Murphy Scholar Award from the AUA as well as the Medical Student Teaching Award from Harvard Medical School.
