| Dr. Nancy Curry is a Professor of Radiology with a dual appointment in Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology.
Dr. Curry is a 1972 graduate of the Medical College of Pennsylvania (now Drexel University School of Medicine), completing radiology residency at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY, where she served as the first female Chief Resident at that program. After a further Fellowship year in Uroradiology at UCLA, Dr. Curry joined the faculty of the Medical University of South Carolina in 1980. She served as President of the South Carolina Radiological Society in 1994 and President of the national subspecialty group, the Society of Uroradiology in 2007.
Dr. Curry is nationally recognized as a leading authority on imaging of renal tumors and has authored or co-authored 75 scientific publications and book chapters. She serves on committees for the American College of Radiology, American Board of Radiology and is an active reviewer for multiple imaging journals. She has clinical expertise in genitourinary and gastrointestinal fluoroscopic, radiographic and CT imaging and has been honored as the recipient of departmental resident teaching awards.
