| Dr. Greg Perron is a Board-Certified Family Physician who grew up in an Air Force family and is putting down roots here in Mt Pleasant. He attended the University of Virginia as an undergraduate and Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis, Missouri. Dr. Perron was awarded his M.D. in 1997 and completed a Family Medicine Residency at Malcolm Grow Medical Center, Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland. He served in South Korea, then at Andrews as faculty at the residency program. After leaving the Air Force, he worked as a medical consultant before returning to Andrews as a civilian. In 2011, Dr. Perron and his wife relocated to Mt Pleasant, SC. He was privileged to care for Veterans at the Ralph H Johnson VAMC, but is excited to join MUSC. Areas of interest include comprehensive care for the entire family, wellness and prevention, and management of problems such as hypertension, diabetes, weight, cholesterol, respiratory problems, depression and anxiety. He cares for patients of all ages. Dr. Perron is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the South Carolina Academy of Family Physicians. He enjoys hiking, skiing, outdoors, and time with his wife and daughter.
