Dr. Matheson completed his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2001 and his family medicine residency from St. Vincent’s Family Medicine Residency Program in 2004. Dr. Matheson completed his Masters in Clinical research from MUSC in 2009 and was hired to work for the Department of Family Medicine. Clinical and research interests include nutrition, preventive care, and medical education. He is currently an Assistant Professor.
