Patient Care
The Department of Family Medicine maintains four clinical sites in the Charleston area.  The Family Medicine Center, located on the campus of MUSC in downtown Charleston, is primarily a faculty practice that offers a full scope of primary care services.  University Family Medicine, located near Trident Regional Medical Center in North Charleston, is the practice site for several faculty members along with our residents.  East Cooper University Family Medicine, is located in the East Cooper Community Outreach (ECCO) Center on Six Mile Road just off U.S. 17 near Laing Middle School.  Our newest faculty practice, Flowertown University Family Medicine is located at 602 N. Main St. in Summerville.

Our practices strive to offer convenient, same-day care for all our patients with the excellence that patients can expect from a group that has 14 family physicians recognized as “Best Doctors in America”, more than any other practice in South Carolina.
