Protective eye wear

The activities most of us look forward to in the summer can place our vision at great risk. Eye injuries from sports, boating, home improvement projects, and fireworks can all be avoided with proper precautions and by wearing eye protection. An estimated 10,800 children and adults were treated for firework injuries last year alone. In addition, UV light exposure can also cause eye damage and cataracts over the longer term.

Take proper precautions to save your vision. Wear eye safety glasses when operating power tools or playing at-risk sports. Avoid UV exposure with protective sunglasses and seek medical attention as soon as possible if you have suffered an eye injury.
