Charlene M. Grice, MD is an assistant professor in the department of ophthalmology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and is a specialist in cornea and cataract services at the Albert Florens Storm Eye Institute in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr Grice joined the MUSC faculty in 1999. She received her medical degree in 1987 from Medical University of South Carolina and did an internship at Greenville Hospital Systems in Greenville, South Carolina. She did a residency and fellowship at Storm Eye Institute where she focused on the cornea and external diseases of the eye. Dr Grice is certified in cornea and external diseases by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Paton Society Eye Bank Association of America and the Ocular Immunology and Microbiology Group.
