The Center is equipped with the latest equipment for clinical care. MUSC has image-guided systems in all operating rooms and digital imaging systems and video capture in all clinics. We are actively working with equipment companies to develop equipment for endoscopic surgery. An 11-station sinus laboratory is equipped with an image-guidance system, powered and hand instrumentation, and digital video systems for educational purposes. Basic science research moved into dedicated space in the Children’s Research Institute in 2004, where a Rhinology Technician is fully dedicated to rhinology research.

Patient Education

Members of our team conduct community outreach and free educational seminars on a regular basis. This enables patients in our community to be thoroughly knowledgeable about their diseases and the latest treatments.
