Adult Program

Tuesday 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm

The MUSC CF Adult Program is led by Patrick Flume, M.D. and consists of a multidisciplinary staff dedicated to the needs of adults with CF.  The team is skilled at the evaluation and treatment of adult patients and interacts closely with the pediatric team to assure proper transition of patients into the adult world.

Transition Program

The MUSC CF Center believes in age-appropriate care.  We begin preparing the patient and family for transition into adulthood from the time we first meet.  By the time patients are 18 years of age, they are ready for transfer to the adult team.  We work towards the development of the patient's independence, enhancing their knowledge of CF, and their acceptance of ownership of their care.
