Louis Andria, DDS, MS Adjunct Associate Professor Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics Medical University of South Carolina
About Dr. Andria: Dr. Andria presently is an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics at the Medical University of South Carolina. He received his D.D.S. (1954), certificate in orthodontics (1959) and M.S. in Orthodontics (1970) from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. He was honorably discharged as a Captain from the United States Army Dental Corps as a Captain in 1957. He retired from a private practice in Rockford Illinois in 1997 and as an associate professor in orthodontics at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1981. He was a cofounder of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Anomalies team and served as the orthodontic consultant from 1965-1997.
He is a member of the American Dental society, American Association of Orthodontists, Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontist, and Fellow of the International College of Dentistry, Phi Eta Sigma National Scholarship Honorary Fraternity and Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Scholarship Honorary Fraternity.
Dr. Andria is also an orthodontic consultant to the Craniofacial Anomalies Team of MUSC Children’s hospital.
