Clinical trials are the primary way breakthroughs in treating diseases are made. They shed light on new ways to detect, diagnose and reduce risk of disease. Hollings Cancer Center offers patients access to the latest oncology clinical trials, many of which are only available at NCI centers. Presently, more than 1,500 people are participating in our clinical trials, while a dedicated team of clinicians and researchers are constantly at work to make more available.
