Over 400 new patients will come to the Gynecologic Cancer Program at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center this year. With South Carolina ranked ninth in the nation in cervical cancer deaths, our advanced diagnostics and treatments are a source of hope to thousands of women each year. As South Carolina's only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center, MUSC Hollings Cancer Center offers patients access to the most advanced gynecologic cancer research and clinical trials. Our program offers South Carolina’s first female gynecologic oncologist and nationally renowned radiation oncologists and gynecologic pathologists. At Hollings Cancer Center, our Gynecologic Cancer Program encompasses all aspects of diagnosis, surgery, treatment and management of cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer and vulvar cancer.
Multidisciplinary Team Members
Hollings Cancer Center’s Gynecologic Cancer team encompasses all of the specialists related to a patient’s individual cancer needs. Team members gather at Tumor Conferences every Tuesday to discuss each case in order to make the patient’s care more efficient and effective.

Clinical Trials
Gynecologic cancer patients have access to clinical trials of promising new therapies. The goal of these research efforts is to bring effective new treatments to patients as quickly as possible.
