Thoracic Cancer Program

MUSC Hollings Cancer Center is the central hub of advanced cancer care for all of South Carolina, leading the way in prevention, education, advanced treatment and research.  As the state's only National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated cancer center, we offer patients expanded access to the latest clinical trials and most promising new therapies right here in Charleston, as well as through our network of affiliate hospitals throughout the state.  

MUSC Hollings Cancer Center’s Thoracic Cancer Program specializes in all aspects of diagnosis, surgery, treatment and management of:

• Lung cancer
• Esophageal cancer and Barrett's esophagus
• Mesothelioma
• Tumors of the mediastinum
• Tracheal cancer
• Thymoma, thymic carcinoma
