Melanoma Program

MUSC Hollings Cancer Center's Jenny Sullivan Sanford Melanoma & Skin Cancer Program is the only one of its kind in South Carolina. Our program, based on a multidisciplinary team approach, is committed to enhancing the care of melanoma and skin cancer patients. Based on the exceptional care we offer, the program has been designated a Melanoma Center of Excellence (MCE) by the Melanoma Hope Network - one of the first 14 programs in the United States to receive this designation.

The mission of the Jenny Sullivan Sanford Melanoma & Skin Cancer Program is to enhance all facets of melanoma care including:

• Optimal patient care through a multidisciplinary approach
• Screening and prevention
• Patient navigation program 
• Community and patient education
• Clinical and translational research
