About Us
More people will defeat cancer this year. More cancer patients will live longer. More treatments will be available. More therapies will be tested. More breakthroughs will be discovered. All of this and more will happen because of the compassionate men and women at Hollings Cancer Center at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dedicating their lives to saving others, our researchers and clinicians continually push the boundaries of science, finding answers that will offer hope to the 23,000 South Carolinians who’ll be diagnosed with cancer this year, and to many more around the world. It’s the kind of medicine that earns National Cancer Institute (NCI) designation, the only such endorsement given to any cancer center in our state.
