Lynette Franklin is a clinical nurse specialist with training in wound, ostomy & continence nursing. She received her bachelor's of nursing science from Queen's University in Kingston, Canada, and completed her master's of nursing at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). She attended Emory University in Atlanta to receive her WOC specialty training. After nursing in Canada and Ethiopia, Lynette has been a nurse at MUSC for the last 10 years. Her background includes caring for diverse populations including neonates to elders, and preemies to the morbidly obese. Lynette has developed educational programs for patients and health care professionals, presented at the regional, state and national level, and written articles for scientific journals. She is an avid patient advocate and is integral to the development of the MUSC Bladder and Pelvic Health Program. |
