Malissa LaRoche Sandhu is a physician assistant at Albert Florens Storm Eye Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). She earned certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in 2000. Her special interests include oculoplastic evaluations, chemical peels and permanent makeup. Sandhu’s previous experience as a physician assistant includes evaluation of low back, leg, neck and arm pain; interpretation of MRI and CT scans of the spine; and neuro-ophthalmological evaluations and treatment. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in biology from College of Charleston, Sandhu graduated cum laude with a degree in physician assisting from MUSC. She earned several honors including Dean’s Honors List at MUSC and Psy-Chi Psychology Honor Society at College of Charleston. Sandhu is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants. | | |
