Located at 25 Courtenay Drive in the beautiful Charleston Peninsula, this facility continues MUSC's long history of providing a service of excellence in patient care.  Specializing in Heart & Vascular Disease, Digestive Disease, and Cancer Care, this facility has been designed to offer not only the latest technologies and world renowned physicians, but also provide a convenient hospital with a hotel-like atmosphere.  With this new facility, MUSC specifically addresses the increased incidence of cardiovascular disease, digestive disease and cancer among the growing patient population in South Carolina and the region.

This state-of-the-art building features 156 beds, including an intensive care unit, operating rooms, laboratories, interventional radiology and endoscopy suites and a specialized chest pain center.  The hospital is designed to accommodate the most modern medical equipment available and to offer patients and their families the highest quality of care in a setting that rivals the comfort and style of a fine hotel.

Separate corridors for staff and visitors insure easy transportation through Ashley River Tower, as well as assuring the privacy of our patients coming from procedures.  Family waiting rooms are close to the areas of care, which can be easily identified.
