Cotesworth Pinckney Fishburne, Jr., D.D.S.
Dr. Fishburne, a native of Walterboro, has served as a member of the Board of Trustees since 1988. He received his BS degree from Wofford College in 1959 and, since the State of South Carolina had no dental school at the time, he enrolled at the Medical College of Virginia where he graduated in dentistry in 1963. After serving two years as Captain in the Army Dental Corps, Dr. Fishburne began his practice in Rock Hill in 1965 and continued until becoming semi-retired in 2002. He has served as an active member and as president of numerous local and state dental and civic organizations and is active in his Presbyterian Church. He and his wife, Shirley, have two college-age daughters. Dr. Fishburne currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
