Melvyn Berlinsky
A lay representative from Congressional District 1, Mr. Berlinsky has served as an MUSC Trustee since 1971. He was the Board’s Vice-Chairman from 1990 to 1994. He has served as a member of the Research Committee, the Hospital and Patient Care Committee, and as Chairman of the Education, Faculty , and Student Affairs Committee. He also serves as the representative of the Board of Trustees to the Hollings Cancer Center Board. Mr. Berlinsky attended The Citadel, and he and his wife, Joan, have three sons.
